Welcome ImagineWoman!

On April 7, your Shades of Influence team attended We Brunchin’, the inaugural launch of Imagine Woman, an organization dedicated to creating a space where Caribbean-Canadian women can share, collaborate and create a positive dialogue for one other. 

The event was moderated by Imagine Woman’s founder, Alicia Smith and included speakers, a fashion show and gift giveaways.  It was an intimate affair with women from the community who were ready to connect and mingle.  There were quite a few women there who are relatively new to Canada and who are making their mark as business owners, which was wonderful to see and to hear their stories.  The guest speaker was Aisha Ebony from Muse Hair Studio & Beauty Bar and she spoke about her journey to success. 

It was an enjoyable afternoon and we want to thank Alicia Smith and Imagine Woman for the invitation and the partnership.  We see a bright future ahead for you!
